Textile is a traditional industry with a history of thousands of years. According to the direction of the yarn loops in the fabric, knitted fabrics can be divided into warp-knitted fabrics and weft-knitted fabrics.
The structure of the loops is the basic unit to form a knitted fabric. In warp knitted fabrics, a complete loop consists of stem loops (green parts) and connecting threads (red parts). There are three forms of loops in the structure of warp knitting: open loops, closed loops, and double-latch needles.
The formation of warp-knitted fabrics: the loop-forming process: withdrawing the loop-yarn feeding-closing loops-interlooping-laying in-drawing-forming-pulling. The warp yarn is fed down from the warp beam and passes through the guides on the guide bar. The guide bar contains the latch needles and sinks into the knitting needles. The guide bar moves back and forth laterally, and the needles move up and down to catch the yarn, lay it in, and form the loops.
The fabric properties of warp knitting technology are between weft-knitted fabrics and woven fabrics. The anti-pilling property of warp-knitted fabrics is good. Warp knitting technology can produce shaped products. It is suitable for weaving mesh structures and plush fabrics. Warp knitting technology has a high production efficiency (3300r.p.m, 210") and high requirements for raw materials, production machinery, and production environment.
